The NHL playoffs tickets back and this year the action seems like its going to be really crazy. There is a lot of great hockey happening this year, and you can be there to take in the NHL playoffs live and in the flesh. The first round of the playoffs sees some historic rivalries revived once again, including the Boston Bruins vs the Montreal Canadiens and the New York Rangers vs the Washington Capitals. There’s a pretty good chance fans of these teams will do what they can to get their hands on NHL playoff tickets to see how their team fares. There is also going to be a lot of attention on the battle between the San Jose Sharks and the Los Angeles Kings, the first time the Californian teams meet in the playoffs. Round one sees some great series matchups as the teams strive to reach the Stanley Cup. Here are the round one matchups:
Eastern Conference
Western Conference
Washington Capitals vs New York Rangers
Philadelphia Flyers vs Buffalo Sabres
Boston Bruins vs Montreal Canadiens
Pittsburgh Penguins vs Tampa Bay Lightning
Vancouver Canucks vs Chicago Blackhawks
San Jose Sharks vs Los Angeles Kings
Detroit Red Wings vs Phoenix Coyotes
Anaheim Ducks vs Nashville Predators
Eastern Conference:
The Capitals have been waiting a long time for another shot at the Cup. With the first seed in the East, the Caps will have home field advantage until they get to the Cup. Both the Rangers and the Capitals can score with the best of them so make sure you check it out.
The Buffalo Sabres take on the Philadelphia Flyers and this is one heated rivalry for sure. Reviving old memories is what the playoffs are all about, and in Philadelphia they have some great memories to recall. The Flyers were most recently humbled by the Sabres in 2006 and you know nobody in either city has forgotten. The Flyers made it all the way to the Stanley Cup last year before loosing to the Chicago Blackhawks. So right now this is going to be a good series and fans are looking for playoff tickets for this series for sure.
Another huge rivalry that has been matched up again are the Boston Bruins and the Montreal Canadiens. As if these teams didn’t have enough history, the intensity shot up a bit this season when Zdeno Chara knocked Max Pacioretty into the glass, giving him a concussion and injuring his neck. Boston is more physical, while Montreal is more speedy and finesse, so its going to be an interesting matchup. Boston will have to be weary of getting into foul trouble, as Montreal has one of the most dangerous power play combinations in the NHL.
“it’s crunch time and the proof is in the pudding” Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli told ESPN.com “It’s what you’ve done and how you’ve managed it mentally. We feel we’re in a good position that way. We’ve taken that head on in all our mental preparation and team-building stuff. Now it’s time to prove what it’s worth.”
Even though Sidney Crosby will most likely not be available to play in the first round series between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Tampa Bay Lightning should be a competitive one. Even though Pittsburgh is missing both Crosby and Evgeni Malkin but they have a team full of experienced players. This series should be a very close one, so expect lot of fans wanting NHL playoff tickets to be on the lookout.
Western Conference
Vancouver Canucks vs Chicago Blackhawks
The defending champion Chicago Blackhawks barely got in the playoffs but thanks to the Wild beating the Dallas Stars have made it into the first round. But now they need to take on the Vancouver Canucks, the Western Conferences’s best team all season. This is going to be a huge matchup and both teams have their work cut out for them. We all understand the regular season means nothing, but Vancouver has to like its chances. But the Blackhawks are more or less the same team that won the Stanley Cup last year, so expect them to put up a fight.
San Jose Sharks vs Los Angeles Kings
This is the first time the Sharks and Kings have met in the playoffs, so expect this California matchup to get plenty of attention from fans looking for NHL playoff tickets. Both teams have had solid years, and now the real season starts. This is a huge matchup, and both teams will be fighting hard to win. The season-series is split, so expect plenty of hard hits and big plays in this one. The Kings will be without Anze Kopitar, however the Kings have still been able to score goals with the best of them. Get your Kings Sharks tickets soon and see the biggest series of the year in person.
Detroit Red Wings vs Phoenix Coyotes
The Detroit Red Wings and the Phoenix Coyotes are again facing off in the playoffs and this will once again be a competitive series. After going seven games in 2010, and the season series being split, expect the Red Wings vs Coyotes series to be a good one. Coyotes Captain Shane Doan has been very good so far, but now his talents will be put to the test. You can check out what’s going on at all the games if you buy tickets right now!
Anaheim Ducks vs Nashville Predators
Here is another first-time playoff matchup, and fans are expecting a solid series. When the Predators have Shea Weber and Ryan Suter playing together they are tough to beat. You can be there to see who wins out with the NHL playoff tickets for all the games. The Ducks have looked like a juggernaut recently, but the Predators have some skills too. If you buy tickets and make a playoff game, expect this to be a hard fought battle.

Well with a field this wide-open, and so many great hockey teams, I don’t blame you. There is nothing better than the NHL playoffs for some heart-racing action that never lets up. We all know that NHL hockey is the fastest sport around, but when the NHL playoffs come around the intensity gets ratcheted up a hundred times over. There is nothing like seeing your favorite NHL Hockey team compete at the ultimate level, where each and every play could have huge ramifications. Its no wonder then the NHL Playoff tickets are some of the most sought after in all of sports.
Well of course we all love the NHL playoffs, and hockey fans around the world can’t wait for the NHL post-season to start. While watching the playoffs on TV is always exciting, you can’t beat being there in person for the NHL action you can handle. That’s why NHL Playoff tickets are so huge.
So of course everyone wants to get their hands on NHL Playoff tickets, but that is sometimes easier said than done, unless you know where to look that is! Its virtually impossible to get NHL playoff tickets from the box office, and if there are any tickets left you can be pretty sure that they are way up, where your view will be worse than on TV. Well, there a better option out there, and its called Ticket Liquidator. They have been selling NHL playoff tickets for years now, and they have not let me down yet. I checked on some of the other site online that sell NHL playoff tickets, but I keep coming back to TL. They have the largest selection of tickets and their prices are always cheaper than competitors. They also have some great customer service that has helped me whenever I needed some question answered.
Its been a great hockey season so far, but its going to get even better once the NHL playoffs start up. Don’t wait and get your NHL playoff tickets before its too late!
Next up for NHL playoffs tickets are the Sharks vs Blackhawks and the Montreal Canadiens against whoever wins out between the Bruins and Flyers. The 2010 NHL Playoffs are here and this season the post-season match ups features some very interesting possibilities. There have been a number of interesting NHL -related storylines all year, and they all come down the the NHL post-season. Can the Penguins and Detroit matchup for a third Stanley Cup appearance? You’ll have to get you NHL playoff tickets if you want to get an insiders perspective. 2010 has also seen some surprising teams make a name for themselves, as well as the resurgence of both the Chicago Blackhawks and the Los Angeles Kings. This could be a very good season for hockey fans in general, but even better if your team is playing in the playoffs. Get you NHL playoff tickets soon because there are going to be some great moments this year. With the playoff news in mind, here is a look at the 2010 NHL playoff matchups as they stand today:
2010 NHL playoff matchups Eastern Conference:
Capitals Canadiens
The Washington Capitals, who have scored more than 300 goals this season, take on the Montreal Canadiens in the first round. There are plenty of scorers on this Capitals squad, but none causes fans to buy Capitals tickets like Alex Ovechkin, who has made an outstanding case for a third-consecutive MVP season. In addition to Ovechkin, the Canadiens will also need to worry about defender Mike Green, who is as adept at defending the net as he is putting the puck in the net. He once again led the NHL in goals scored by a defensemen. They are also very tough to beat at the Verizon Center, the Capitals home stadium, as they only lost five regulation games at home all season.
The Canadiens are heavy underdogs in the first round, and there is going to be a lot of pressure on Canadiens goalie Jaroslav Halak, who will need to stop among the most prolific scoring teams of all time. The Capitals Canadiens matchup looks to be a real battle, so if you can make it you will see a good time. So don’t wait another second and get your NHL playoff tickets for this series before its too late.
Devils Flyers
The Flyers enter the series flying high after an overtime win over the Rangers in the final game of the season to make it the NHL playoffs. That was a hot ticket in Philadelphia, but not nearly as hot as Flyers playoff tickets are. While the New Jersey Devils have the higher seed, the Flyers have had the Devils number this season, winning five of six games this year. There is going to be a lot of attention on the goalie matchup between Martin Brodeur and Brian Boucher, both among the best in the game. Fans with Devils playoff tickets are definitely going to have their eyes on Ilya Kovalchuk, who has been stellar since being acquired from the Atlanta Thrashers. The matchup between the Devils and Flyers is going to be a hard-fought battle, and this series will come down to who wants it more.
Sabres Bruins
The Sabres have been one of the best in the league this year, while the Bruins floundered after coming into the season with high hopes. The Bruins can get hot, and they won out the season series, winning four of six meetings between the Sabres and Bruins. Sabres goalie Ryan Miller has been great all season long, but now is when he and the rest of the team needs to step it up. Boston has had trouble scoring goals this season but fans are hoping they can pick it up in the playoffs. Fans who wind up with Bruins Sabres tickets will also keep an eye on the matchup between Boston’s Zdeno Chara and Sabres winger Thomas Vanek. If Chara is able to contain one of the Sabre’s most dangerous scorers he will be giving them a great chance to win. This is going to be a very interesting matchup so you better move on Bruins tickets or Sabres tickets before the fun is over for one team.
Penguins Senators
The Pittsburgh Penguins enter their series against the Senators looking to defend their Stanley Cup title. All eyes will be on Sidney Crosby, who is going to want to keep an incredible season rolling. The Senators will have to deal with injuries to some of their best players, including defensemen Filip Kuba and Alexei Kovalev. There is going to be a lot of pressure on the Senators defense to stop the Pittsburgh scoring machine, so that will definitely be a part of this series. The Senators have played very well for stretches this season so they could prove to a be a force in this series. The Pittsburgh Penguins have the experience edge, as they’ve made it to the Stanley Cup the past two years. You can imagine that Penguins playoff tickets are going fast in Pittsburgh so don’t wait to get yours.
Sharks Avalanche
The high-scoring Sharks are once again one of the best-scoring teams going into the playoffs, but recent history has not bee favorable to them. The Avs made it to the playoffs after an up and down season and will need to play tough hockey if they want to win this series. The Sharks have been one of the best teams in the NHL the past few seasons, but they haven’t been able put it together in the playoffs. However fans have not lost faith, and Sharks playoff tickets are going fast in San Jose. On the other hand the Avalanche have been almost unstoppable at times so there is a chance the Sharks could be facing another early exit from the playoffs. On paper the Sharks should dominate this series, however we all know that the games are decided on the ice. The experience of the Sharks over a young Avalanche team should give them another edge, and the Sharks get some more help because of the fact that the Avalanche are dealing with some very tough injuries. This series should have some very good moments, so if you can get NHL playoff tickets for it you’ll see some good times.
Blackhawks Predators
Playoff hockey is back in Chicago, and one of the Original Six teams has a chance to get to the Stanley Cup. The young players on the Blackhawks are going to need to keep their composure because they’ve come too far. Chicago has beaten the Predators in the season series four games to two. There will be a lot of talk about the Blackhawks goalie, as they have struggled there this season. Rookie Antti Niemi has been solid since taking the starting job from Cristobal Huet, however he will be tested like never before in the playoffs. They haven’t been shy about buying Blackhawk playoff tickets in the Windy City, so look for a great atmosphere at the United Center this post-season. The goalie issue aside the Blackhawks have one of the best defenses in the game. Both the Blackhawks and the Predators are among the most talented in the NHL so the offense of both teams will be tested like they haven’t been all season. Nashville Predators coach Barry Trotz has his work cut out for him, and his gritty team will give the Blackhawks a big challenge. But the Blackhawks season has been about the playoffs since day one. They have a balanced team that won’t be easy to stop. Its been a very long wait for hockey fans in Chicago, and they are going to be going nuts if they ‘Hawks can get past the Predators.
Canucks Kings
Its a great time for hockey fans in both Los Angeles and Vancouver as their teams are back in he playoffs and playing great hockey. The Canucks’s Henrik Sedin has been a scoring machine this year, leading the entire league in points scored. He’s done his part to move Canucks playoff tickets, so you should do your part and cheer him on live. Goalie Roberto Luongo has been among the best in the NHL for years now, however the LA King’s Anze Kopitar can score goals with the best of ‘em. Veteran Ryan Smyth will provide some much-needed experience for a King team that features some very young players. Hockey is back in LA and Kings playoff tickets will not be here long. This series has the potential to be the most riveting of the first round matchups, and with the added pressure from both team’s fanbases, could be the hottest NHL playoff ticket of the year. There hasn’t been much to root for in either cities in past years, but that has all change. The Canucks vs. Kings playoff matchup should be great, so don’t miss a chance to get your tickets.
Coyotes Red Wings
While the Coyotes enter the playoffs seeded higher than the Red Wings, Detroit has been the best team in the NHL since the Winter Olympics. The Red Wings have been in the Stanley Cup the past two years, and their experience will definitely be an asset as they move onto the playoffs. They’ve been buying Red Wings tickets like crazy in Detroit, so get your squid and get out there for the action! Phoenix definitely has a tough task ahead of them, but they’ve been defying expectations all season long. The goalies on both teams will not give up easy goals, and both offenses have a tall order trying to win. This has a great chance to be epic, so get your NHL tickets soon so you an be there in person.
The 2010 NHL playoffs are here and with so many good teams who moves on to round two is anyone’s guess. Don’t miss out on all the playoff action and get your tickets before its too late.
It took us a whole year to get back to where we were, the Detroit Red Wings facing off against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2009 Stanley Cup. This should be one of the better NHL Finals in quite some time, as both teams are looking like they are ready to rumble. The Penguins have come a long way since they lost in last year’s Final, and Pittsburgh fans Stanley Cup tickets are hoping Sydney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin can pull out a win. This is a much different team than the one that lost last year, so look for what should be a very good series. Nothing is better than NHL playoff hockey, but when you are talking about the Stanley Cup, well that is a different story all together. I can’t wait to see what happens when these teams face off, so make sure that you get in there and see all the action with some tickets to see the Stanley Cup.
The 2009 NH playoffs have culminated in the Stanely Cup, which will see the Red Wings take on the Penguins once again
Can a Red Wings team with quite a few injuries keep up with a Penguins team whose leadign scorers have been on fire? Its not going to be easy for Detroit, as some of their best will be at the very least hampered by injuries. But the Red Wing were able to top the Pens last year, and that was without Marian Hossa. Now, Hossa is on the team he believes gives him the best chance to win a Stanley Cup title, and its going to be a tough series all around. Make sure that you get in on the entertainment and buy your Stanley Cup tickets soon.
Well the first round of the playoffs were about as exciting as anyone with NHL playoff tickets could have asked for, with some epic battles and some huge upsets. NHL hockey is unique compared to the others sports because once the playoffs start it is completely unpredictable. Sure you can say the same thing about the others sports, but in hockey its a whole different story. When was the last time you saw an 8 seed knock off a #1 seed in basketball? The Ducks stunner was a great series of hockey that must have been a special scene for anyone with hockey tickets for the playoffs.
Now we enter the second round of the playoffs, when thing should start getting really crazy as the 8 best teams get whittled down to 4. In the second round of the NHL playoffs, the Bruins will square off against the Hurricanes, which will be a sort of rivalry of the old Bruins Whalers rivalry of old. That series should be intense and you can be sure that a lot of fans are going to be looking for Bruins playoff tickets for that one. And of course fans will be looking for Hurricanes tickets as well.
The other Eastern Conference matchup features the Washington Capitals vs the Pittsburgh Penguins in a matchup of Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin. These are two of the best in the game so it should be one very exiting series of hockey. You’ve got the Penguins doing their best to get back to the Stanley Cup, while the Caps will be trying to do the same. The intensity should be through the roof so make sure you get your Capitals Penguins tickets as soon as you can.
In the Western Conference you have some very powerful teams that will be looking to make a name for themselves. The Ducks of course will be riding high after and incredible upset over the Sharks. Even being the #8 seed they will be tough to beat, and we will see if the Detroit Red Wings will be playing up to snuff. Fans are going to be looking for Red Wings tickets very hard this series, and you can be in Anaheim they will be looking for Ducks playoff tickets as well.
The last series of the second round of the NHL playoffs Will be the Vancouver Canucks against the Chicago Blackhawks. These guys are really something else, and you know that this series is going to be great for whoever has NHL Playoff tickets for it. Make sure you see all the excitement and get your Canucks playoff tickets as well as some Blackhawks playoff tickets as soon as you can.
This is going to be a heck-of-a NHL playoff round, and there are sure to be plenty of shots, block not to mention fights in what should be an intense round of NHL Hockey action. Don’t delay and get your tickets to the playoffs as soon as you can because you can’t afford to miss any of the action.
Its the best time of the year for hockey fans now the NHL playoff tickets are on sale. This year we have some great teams looking to win it all, and you can expect plenty of excitement through the 2009 NHL playoffs. There are all kinds of story lines going on, and there are a number of really great teams out there. The San Jose Sharks have been the surprise of the NHL season, earning the Presidents Cup for the best regular season record. They are as elite a scoring team as they come, so if you are a fan you definitely want to get out there and see them play with some Bruins playoff tickets. In the Eastern Conference, the Boston Bruins have stunned just about everyone with the second-best record in the league and best in the conference. The Bruins have a talented squad that likes to play a rough style of hockey, so they are going to be tough for anyone to beat. You can’t beat NHL playoff tickets for intense hockey action can you? Then the defending Stanley cup Red Wings are looking sharp, and you can be sure nobody is going to be crazy about seeing them in the NHL playoffs. And the team they Red Wing beat in the Stanley Cup, the Pittsburgh Penguins, are also looking very sharp and should be in great shape once they take the ice. All in all its going to be a fantastic NHL post-season, so make sure you’ve got your playoff tickets ready to go because you don’t want to miss any of the action.
2009 NHL playoff previews:
Eastern Conference
Boston Bruins vs Montreal Canadiens
In terms of historical significance, this could be the most important game of the first round of the playoffs. To say there is no love lost between the Bruins and the Canadiens would be like saying summer is warmer than winter. These teams have played in some of the most memorable NHL games ever, and this year should be more of the same. Boston came out in first place in the NHL’s Western Conference, amassing 116 points in their 82 games. This is a historic rivalry with he Habs that is going to make Bruins Canadiens tickets some of the hottest of the year. The Bruins meet the Habs in the post-season for the fourth time in the past seven years. Recent history point to the Canadiens, as they won the series in 2002, 2004 and 2008 while historically, the Canadiens have won 24 of 31 playoff series against the Bruins all-time. But while history may point to the Habs, the Bruins have this season going for them. They have been a powerful and high-scoring team all season, and they won five of six games played against the Canadiens this season. They are the second-best scoring team in NHL, and the players on the Bruins are bigger and more physical. The Canadiens will definitely have their hands full going up against this team. Mark Recchi has been playing very well, and we all know what Zdeno Chara can do. If you’ve forgotten, here’s a reminder (warning, clip has some gore):
The Canadiens were able to seek into the playoffs with 93 points. They do have skilled players, but its going to be tough for them to hang with Boston’s powerful offensive line. Its going to be a great series, so make sure you’ve got your Bruins Canadiens playoff tickets ready to go.
Washington Capitals vs. New York Rangers
The Capitals vs Rangers is going to be a fun NHL playoff series to watch, as hockey fans will get to see another chapter in the offense vs defense book. While the Capitals have been one of the NHL’s best-scoring teams all year, the New York Rangers have been among the best defensive teams out there. Washington (108 points) likes to score.
A lot.
Led by Alex Ovechkin, the Washington Capitals are going to be putting an awful lot of pressure on the New York Rangers, but this Rangers team has shown it can hang with anyone, defensively anyway. Washington is third in goals scored per game, but they are also one of the easier teams to score on. The Caps won the season series over the Rangers, winning three of the four games they played. You know that Alex Ovechkin can’t wait to play in the post-season, and that will definitely increase demand for Capitals Rangers playoff tickets. Goalie Jose Theodore has performed well in the playoffs in the past, with Montreal in the 2002 playoffs and again in 2004 with Colorado, so the Caps are hoping he can stop the Rangers from scoring. This young Washington team doesn’t have much playoff experience, but then again neither do the Rangers. The NY Rangers (95 points) have a solid defense that is led by Henrik Lundqvist. They are a tough team to score goals against, but the problem is that they can’t score either- the Rangers rank 28 in offense in the NHL. They have done a good job of slowing down Ovechkin this season, and the Rangers have been terrific since Sean Avery, Nik Antropov and Derek Morris come over right before the trading deadline. The New York Rangers are an impressive 10-6-1 since then, and Rangers tickets have been going fast ever since. Avery has been great in the post-season before, so look for that to happen once again. forward Ryan Callahan was on fire entering the playoffs, so look for that to continue. All in all this is going to be a fun series to have NHL playoffs tickets for, so make sure that you don’t miss out on the fun.
Lets just hope that these games are half as exciting as the NHL’s longest ever shootout:
New Jersey Devils vs Carolina Hurricanes
Here is another NHL playoff series that hockey fans can’t wait to see. New Jersey (106 points), has tons of talented veterans who have gotten it done in the past, including Martin Brodeur and returned veterans Brian Rolston, Bobby Holik and Brendan Shanahan. But the ‘Canes (97 points) have been playing very good hockey lately, and are aiming for a second franchise Stanley Cup. Since Erik Cole came over at the trade deadline, Carolina has gone an impressive 12-3-2. They also won 12 straight home games before Buffalo beat them in the penultimate game of the season. The Carolina Hurricanes have been one of the highest scoring teams in the NHL since February, outscoring opponents by nearly double (88-45) and are also a very capable power-play threat. Like all NHL playoffs games this year, this is a series to watch. Make sure you’ve got your Devils Hurricanes tickets to these games because you do not want to miss the action.
If you are thinking about getting Devils Hurricanes playoff tickets, here a bit of an appetizer:
Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Philadelphia Flyers
One of the two inter-state round one playoff match ups (Ducks Sharks being the other), the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. the Philadelphia Flyers is going to be as intense a series as you will see this NHL playoff season. Both teams are talented, and you know that fans who buy Penguins Flyers playoff tickets are going to be screaming their heads off. The Penguins, (99 points), beat the Flyers in last year’s Eastern Conference Finals on route to the Stanley Cup, so you can bet the Flyers and their fans will be looking for some payback. Rookie coach Dan Bylsma has been great since he took over the team, with the Pens posting an eye-popping 18-3-4 record since he took over. You know that Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin will be very dangerous. Crosby was third in the league in scoring this year, but also has 10 game-winning goals (tied for second). Philadelphia (99 points) looks like it has shaken the injury bug and is looking healthy going into the post-season, which will be good news for Flyers fans out there who watched a hobbled team loose to Pittsburgh in the Eastern Conference Finals last year. Flyers’ Captain Mike Richards will need to stop Crosby if they Flyers are going to have a chance to win, but you know he is up to the challenge. Its going to be a heck-of a series, so make sure you’ve got your Penguins Flyers tickets ready to go.
This shoud give you some idea of what this Penguins Flyers series is going to look like:
Western Conference NHL Playoff match-ups
And in the Western Conference, there are definitely some hot NHL playoff tickets to choose from. There are some fantastic match-ups going on here, including the first California-only playoff series in 40 years. And with the defending champs in the mix, plus a revived Chicago Blackhawks franchise, this is going to be a great season for NHL post-season hockey. Make sure you’ve got your NHL playoff tickets ready to go because you do not want to miss a second.
San Jose (117 points) has been the league’s best team, and enjoys the leagues best record. But they will coming up against a Anaheim Ducks team that has been on fire lately and are the eight seed nobody wants to play. Two California teams haven’t met in the playoffs in 40 years, and with teams this good, you know that Sharks Ducks tickets are going to be some of the hottest of the year. The Sharks have been great the past few years, and this year the team has added some veterans that know how to win. They have been awesome at home, going 32-5-4, and and have been even awesomer(?) on the road, posting a 7-0-2 record on the road in last nine road games. But as good as the Sharks have been all season, in the past month the Ducks (91 points) have been better. The Anaheim Ducks have been nothing short of amazing in the last month of the season, going an incredible 10-2-1. They also beat the Sharks in San Jose 5-2. And the Ducks know what they are doing in the playoffs, lets not forget they won the Stanley Cup in 2007. This should be a very good matchup that will provide plenty to fun for whoever has Sharks Ducks tickets for the 2009 NHL playoffs.
Here is one guy definitely hoping for a Sharks win:
Detroit Red Wings vs. Columbus Blue Jackets
While most NHL fans wouldn’t be thrilled about facing a dominating Red Wings team that is defending its Stanley Cup title, Columbus Blue Jackets fans are ecstatic the Blue Jackets are in the franchises first NHL playoffs and are hoping the team can keep a great season going. Its wont be easy for the Blue Jackets, as the Red Wings have been very good this year. But with Columbus’ youth an x-factor, you never know what you’ll see with Blue Jackets Red Wings tickets. Detroit (112 points) has concerns at goalkeeper, so look for the Jackets to attack the net. With 92 points, Columbus has been a good team this year that will be among the biggest upsets in years if they re able to beat the Red Wings.
Here is a classic game between the Red Wings and the Blue Jackets:
Vancouver Canucks vs. St Louis Blues
Vancouver (100 points), has been incredible the past 2-plus months, and since February 1 they are 23-7-2. Chicago Blackhawks vs. Calgary Flames
This young Chicago Blackhawks have reinvigorated one of the country’s most devout hockey towns and are getting a lot of fans looking for Blackhawks playoff tickets. Chicago (104 points), has a young team that has been playing well lately after faltering a bit in mid-season. Goalie Nikolai Khabibulin has been solid the past month, and the Hawks are 6-0-1 in April and ended the season going 9-2-1 since March 22. They are definitely playing well so they are going to be a challenge for the Flames. Chicago also beat Detroit twice to end the season. You know that hockey fans in Chicago have been waiting for years for a return to the playoffs, so you know the United Center is going to be jumping. They are talented team, but inexperienced in the playoffs. They will be a tough opponent for the Calgary Flames (98 points). The Flames are a solid team without a huge superstar.
